Photographers and artists, welcome.
With several photographers and artists in the family, we understand the importance of the right location. We welcome photographers and artists to the Farmstead for mini sessions, senior photos, engagement sessions, wedding parties, and everything in between, in designated, pre-approved locations.
1 Hour Session
$200
Up to 10 people. $5 per additional person. Ideal for mini sessions, senior photos, or a single portrait window.
2 Hour Permit
$375
Up to 20 people. $5 per additional person. Multiple sessions or a longer engagement shoot. Includes a promo session.
4 Hour Photo & Art Permit
$700
Up to 40 people. $5 per additional person. Wedding parties, editorial work, extended art sessions. Includes a promo session.
Before you book
- Advance registration is required. Permits available 11am to sunset, outside U-Pick hours. Sunrise sessions on request.
- This is an active working farm. Stay clear of equipment, animals, and out-buildings. No climbing on farm implements.
- No fake snow, no fires, no nude photography. All props must be removed. High heels and pets are not permitted on landscape fabric.
- Photographers may arrive 30 minutes early to scout. Location options are pre-approved with Farmstead 1868.
- Groups arriving early or staying late will be assessed a prorated fee. Dressing rooms are not available on site.
- No pets, no drones. We reserve the right to refuse access at any time. Safety is our number one priority.
- Please tag Farmstead 1868 and Cody Farms in social media posts. Proof of business liability insurance is required.
- Permits are non-refundable but can be rescheduled. Payment is due at time of booking. Commercial photography is not permitted during U-Pick hours.
