Lavender Thumbprints with Lemon Curd and Apricot Preserves

Let the Holiday Preparations begin!

Our house is buzzing with excitement, and I TRIED to simplify this year with a big order of pre-made cookie dough to support our local Pop Warner Football team fundraiser. (GO, CAZ!)

But... then I found this recipe for Lavender Lemon Curd Thumbprints with Apricot Preserves! So, I had to share. And make a batch. Or 3.

If you want to add something unexpected to your holiday dessert table, give it a try! (And please don't tell my family, they are hidden in the freezer. Let's see if we can make it to the 25th!)

I love this recipe because it reminds me of my earliest memories, making cookies with grandma. (Little fingers make the perfect indentations on these!) It also reminds me of a Linzer Torte that my grandfather used to love.

There is something so magical about food and the memories it can stir up. I hope you enjoy this recipe and have fond moments with your loved ones while trying it, too!
